I’ve been working in the coffee industry since 1988. Over the years, I’ve seen just about every kind of innovation pass by — some short-lived, others truly game-changing.
One of those long-lasting innovations I came across about 20 years ago: the first Indumax filter. I saw it in action at a client’s roasting facility in Bree, Belgium. That same filter is still running today on a 22-kilo Probat coffee roaster — which really says a lot about the quality and reliability of the system.
Through my companies, Bussink Machinery International B.V. and Dutch Master Roasters, we’ve been able to place many Indumax filters throughout Europe. And now, I’m excited to bring this proven, sustainable technology to the American market — offering roasters a smart, clean way to reduce smoke and odor, without using extra energy.
